Sharon is a long-time parishioner of St. Joseph's, and has actively participated in the ministerial life of the parish as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, choir member, and Sunday School teacher. She has coordinated numerous activities such as the annual parish picnic, the Health and Wellness Ministry, and the Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve outreach programs. A registered nurse for 30 years, Sharon has worked in various areas of health care including orthopedics, surgical intensive care, neonatal intensive care, TRU (Trauma Resuscitation Unit), geriatrics, post-acute care, and Project P.L.A.S.E (People Lacking Ample Shelter and Employment). Currently, she is a member of the Passionist Enrichment and Mission Fulfillment Team as well as the St. Vincent de Paul Society Monastery Conference. Sharon became Religious Education Coordinator in 2010.
